Located deep in south city, Antarctica is a smoke-free music venue and lounge which books local and national indie-rock acts you won't find anywhere else in St. Louis. There's no sign on this joint, so just look for the massive all-white building about two blocks south of Bevo Mill on Gravois Road. Oh, and be sure to check out Antarctica's indie-rock karaoke night - after all, it's one of the only places in town where you can croon tunes by the Smiths--by far our favorite pasttime.
