Description

In a city where pho shops abound, An's Lemongrass Grill is a good introduction to the basics of Vietnamese cuisine. The original location is located just off the main crush of the 16th Street Mall and offers a small but varied selection of Vietnamese staples, including spring rolls and rice and noodle dishes. The main attraction, though, is the pho -- a big bowl of the traditional beef-based broth, to which diners can add meat, noodles and vegetables. An's is a good option for a downtown lunch or dinner, with two portion sizes: "Asian" and "Texan." Whichever you choose, come ready to slurp.
