Description

Anita Ross's crepe stands, beloved at every farmers market they tour, have funded her first sit-down restaurant. She tricked out her butter-yellow, nine-table restaurant so that it's the perfect place for a casual date. Her adult pancakes come with farmers market pedigrees, of course-sustainably raised meats, farmstead cheeses, organic vegetables-and they're as gorgeously decorated as they are simple. Her more substantial entrees are too plain for their $$$ prices. But the low-end luxuries of her crepes can leave you feeling like you've just picked up a Diesel jacket at Nordstrom Rack for one-third its original price.

  • 2009 | Best Farmers Market Booth to Put Down Stakes

Plenty of farmers-market purveyors have graduated to brick-and-mortar status, but none have made the transition better than Anita's Crepes. Its bright-yellow Leary Way location is a beacon of hominess among the car repair shops and gas stations surrounding it. And it's lovely on the inside, too, with an open kitchen, a friendly, doting staff, and savory or sweet buckwheat crepes filled with mostly local ingredients. The ham and cheese is hearty and impossibly fresh-tasting. If you can't make... More »

A small and cozy place, perfect for wine and gourmet crepes. The menu consists of a 4 course meal, or crepes by themselves, including 4 or 5 meals, and them a large selection of dessert crepes. Completely delicious and the atmosphere makes it complete!
