Description

Don't let the run-down strip mall location fool you. This charming eatery offers a romantic ambiance, thanks in part to dim chandelier lighting and an earth-tone color scheme with touches of red and dark wood. This Italian restaurant offers 20 pasta and risotto dishes, which include Victor's Risotto (chicken-breast slices, Portobello mushrooms and shrimp with capers in a white wine and lemon-butter sauce) and the signature house-made gnocchi, which is "scented with a touch of cinnamon" with basil marinara or a Gorgonzola cream sauce. Chicken dishes like picatta, Milanese and Marsala, dominate the entrées. However, there is a selection of seafood dishes, for which chef Alfonso Carmona piles on the marine life, including the shrimp Stella (shrimp, lobster cream sauce and crabmeat) and the cioppino entrée.
