This attractive, year-old Turkish restaurant near Mizner Park in Boca Raton has become wildly popular thanks to relatively inexpensive prices and a fun, cozy atmosphere. The Turkish food at Anatolia Mediterranean Cuisine, however, is erratic, and service is spotty. Dishes such as pide, Turkish flatbread pizzas topped with minced lamb and feta, are enticing but fail to live up to the promise. Whole, grilled dorade and bronzini look dramatic above a bed of tomato-infused bulgur, but we never got to try them since the restaurant frequently runs out. Still, the red and brown room is inviting and lively, and if you bring your own wine, you can drink it sans corkage fee (at least for the time being). Reservations recommended.
