But for those who prefer Italian-style gelato and sorbet to ice cream, its more calorie-rich American counterpart, the wait is well worth it. Styled as a modern European sweet shop, Amore Gelato draws tourists walking off big mall meals, movie-goers and those with a taste for unusual flavors: Honey sunflower and mojito are among the sweet offerings in rotation. Locally owned, Amore Gelato proudly buys all of its dairy from local farmers, though some of the ingredients come from Italy.
