A longtime Chinatown staple, this two-story restaurant hosts hordes of tourists and families on a daily basis. The look is a bit classier than your usual lo mein joint; enter the dining room to find a large chandelier hanging over the round tables, which are all draped in white tablecloths. Inset wooden alcoves hold delicate antiques while a television plays in the background. It's dressed-up but still plenty casual, as many of the guests are T-shirt clad families with children. All of your standard Chinese dishes are here, plus a few unique specials like the honey BBQ quail, steamed frog with black pepper and mango pineapple prawns. Animal activists might want to stay away from the selection of shark's fin soups and opt for the many veggie and tofu options.
