The newly renovated Al's Sports Bar, on the edge of George Bush Park near Highway 6, is a lively, rowdy suburban watering hole. Besides lots of TV screens and tank-top-clad waitresses, the football goalpost by the bar leaves no doubt about Al's sporting nature - shouts and sighs carry through the establishment right up to the final play. Besides any game you could possibly want to watch, Al's features live music on the weekends, Texas Hold 'Em tournaments Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a weekly lingerie show on Wednesdays.
I own this bar. I love this bar. I operate within the sound limits of the county at all times. I even own a meter to test so I can be sure I am not bothering anyone. Most people would be man enough to call, email, or write a letter so I could work with them to resolve any issues they have.I have spoken to many of the other neighbors in the area and worked with them. Bringing my Son into this is out of line. Was that a threat you made sir?
If you have kids don't go to Al's Sports Bar. He will not turn down the music during school nights because their is no sound ordinance in Harris County. He goes home to his son Alex sleeping nicely in his Sugarland home. He prospers @ our kids expense. Three people were also stabbed causing lifeflight to come out plus other gun yielding incidents. Al if you read this.....how would you like it if someone messed with your son Alex like this? If you play with fire you just might get burned!!!!
