This is a little bit of Austin in Dallas. Rock posters, some of them autographed, share space with a gaggle of origami fauna left hanging from a 2009 wedding reception. On Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, popular and little-known musical acts jam out on the stage, packing the joint, and don't worry about paying cover at the door; you can make a "donation" to the band when they pass the kitty at intermission. Come early for brunch on Sunday. The line for a table at brunch moves slowly, especially if those already seated have ordered the hot-selling hot cakes. Whatever you order, though, odds are the ingredients have been sourced locally.
