It's not quite Chinese, it's not quite Indian: At Aling's, the 4,000-square-foot restaurant just off Williams Trace, it's called Chindian. And it's got quite a history in southeastern China, even if the cuisine is new to Sugar Land - and new to Houston. Chindian cuisine (also called Hakka cuisine) incorporates elements of both Chinese and Indian cooking into dishes such as loong foong soup, Manchurian chicken and the eponymous Hakka chili chicken. Too spicy? The restaurant will gladly adjust the heat levels to suit your senses.
