Supermarket fried chicken usually sucks, and it usually doesn't matter if it sucks, because it smells so much better than the raw stuff you'd have to cook that you're liable to buy it anyway, if only to reward yourself for actually going to the grocery store. It might be a couple of days old and drier than Pasco, but fuck it; it's more appealing than whipping up a batch of broccoli casserole for the whole fam. Albertson's, however, doesn't suck. In fact, it's a point of pride for a supermarket chain that's been increasingly relegated to the city's fringes (there are two White Center stores for your dining pleasure) as high-end and natural-food stores clog the middle.
