Description

Inspired by the cuisine of Italy's Piemonte region, this romantic Boulder restaurant, overseen by owner Rick Stein, delivers solid Italian fare to an enthusiastic crowd of diners who gather in the gold-hued dining room, filled with rusticated farm tables topped with wine glasses. Chef Matthew Feldman, who trained in Tuscany, proffers a seasonal menu of antipasti; small plates; risotto and housemade pastas; seafood and fish; thin-crusted pizzas; and meat dishes, including an herb-roasted duck breast. The well-priced wine list, not surprisingly, is heavy with Italian bottlings, many of which are produced from grapes grown in the lush vineyards surrounding the town of Alba.
