Description

You won't find a lot of frills at this unassuming Pakistani joint, but that won't matter because the food is righteously good. Start with the whisper-light pakora (vegetable fritters) and fresh-baked naan stuffed with onion, potato, or spicy ground lamb, then feast on good tandoori dishes or excellent, spiced-to-order curries that include achar ghosht (lamb with roasted peppers and pickles), fiery chicken makhani, or aloo palak (puréed spinach with potatoes). For dessert, try the kheer (rice-pistachio pudding). No alcohol.
