This is the only museum in the Southwestern United States devoted to the preservation and display of African American artist, cultural and historical materials. The Sculpture Garden includes the Bottle Tree. American Vision: African American Sculptors covers the 19th century to the 21st century. Besides the free parking and free admission, the African American Museum in Fair Park contains some really cool stuff about African American history in Dallas that you are unlikely to find elsewhere.
