Description

This is the only museum in the Southwestern United States devoted to the preservation and display of African American artist, cultural and historical materials. The Sculpture Garden includes the Bottle Tree. American Vision: African American Sculptors covers the 19th century to the 21st century. The museum also features Nommo, George Smith's sculpture based on a Dogon water god.
