so here it is, AVOID THIS SHOP and save yourself frustration. i left my bike for a repair on tuesday the 8th of january for a brake adjustment (wheel on the back was not spinning fast enough) and they said it would be ready for a pick following day. when i called them on wednesday they said the bike was not ready and said that i should pick up the bike next day. i could not pick it up on thursday so on friday i called to be sure it is ready and they have told me no and that they were awaiting parts for it, when i asked what parts they could not answer, then i said it was supposed to be just adjusted and no parts required they said "o sorry yes u r right just come and pick it up tomorrow. friday i was busy with work so i could not pick it up anyway so i called on saturday and they said that they will call me in few hours so i can pick it up. guess what no one called. so today sunday i went there, the bike was not fixed and i just picked it up and was ready to leave, when one of the customer service guys came to me and said that he wants to let me know where i can get the parts for bike to fix it myself. i asked what parts is he talking about, then he replied sand paper so i can clean the disk brakes and do the adjustment (really i need some kid to tell me where i can buy sand paper???? ) i just left the store without saying anything else.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND I WANT YOU TO AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THOSE GUYS. they are clearly unreliable, stay away, there is two more shops in the nearby biscayne blvd.
peace to all
and i hope A 1 Scoot Skate & Bike shop will be out of business soon
Not only do they stock a $2,000 Jamis with a carbon-fiber frame at this old-school cyclery, but also they'll patch your tire for $5 — plus a few bucks more for the tube. Then there's that Phat Cycles lowrider for $1,199. You'll just want to stare. Get a tuneup for $30 to $65. Your rusty clunker will hum like never before. The surfboards go for an average of $300. And if you break down in the evening, this is the place for you. They're open until 8 six days a week. But the main reason to visit is owner Darren Vinditti. The guy is a biking champion. He recently took first place in an off-road race in Gainesville — and was also a champion in the 100-kilometer race at Oleta State Park. Just stop by to bask in his glory.
