Description

Find refined southern Italian cooking at A Voce ("Word of Mouth"), just off the northeast corner of Madison Square. The ravioli-whether you pick the meat-stuffed grandma version, or the newfangled sweet-corn ravioli heaped with mushrooms-are the best in town, tasting like they were made minutes previously. Also recommended are the vegetarian antipasti appetizer (including burrata, caper-dotted pickled peppers, and a tart eggplant mash), and the lamb tasting of two chops and miscellaneous hunks of dense caramelized shank.

Now we just have to think of something with caramel in it to feed Andrew Carmellini! More »
