It doesn't get more traditional than this. Classic French dishes are served at this quaint West Village bistro decked out with vintage posters, flower-topped tables and wooden banquettes. All of your favorites are here: cotes de boeuf, coq au vin, duck confit, PEI mussels cooked in a white wine broth. A few other countries are represented on the menu through various pastas and burgers; if you¹re not too hungry, you can always opt for one of the many sandwiches filled with things like lamb sausage and prosciutto. The wines list is, not surprisingly, predominantly French, complemented by a menu of classic cocktails. During warm weather, make sure to nab a seat outside in the garden patio, a beautiful space with small wooden tables and green plants climbing over white trellises and iron fence.
