You'll appreciate the pho at 828, a little Vietnamese gem in Santa Ana-far from the heart of Little Saigon. Luckily for us-and for Santa Ana (where pho sightings are rare)-828 delivers heartily. The chicken pho here is light, brothy and fresh. The only downside is no dark meat, something that is becoming increasingly harder to find at eateries that serve pho. Its rare-beef and seafood phos are just as satisfying-strong broths, fresh garnishes.
