7th Annual Spring Home and Garden Show

Olympic Gold Medalist to make guest appearance at Seventh Annual Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8.

When the Seventh Annual Spring Home & Garden Show comes to The Woodlands with ideas and advice for building projects, a special guest will be on hand to present a unique construction project of her own. Olympic diving gold medalist Laura Wilkinson, a resident of The Woodlands, will make a guest appearance at the show from noon to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7 and from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8.

While available to meet visitors and sign autographs, Wilkinson said her primary mission will be to spread the word about the Laura Wilkinson Foundation, a volunteer-run nonprofit, and the new facility the foundation hopes to build. Wilkinson is the only woman to win a gold medal in every major world competition in platform diving, including the 2000 Olympic Games, 2004 World Cup and 2005 World Championships. She also holds a Goodwill Games gold medal, two NCAA Division 1 titles, eight NCAA All-American Honors and 19 United States National titles.
