Description

Blue Plate group, which also owns the Edina, Highland, and Longfellow Grills, and the Groveland Tap, does its best to make Maple Grove feel like a neighborhood. 3 Squares most closely resembles the Edina Grill--the two have the same menu--but with dowdier decor. Squares' fare, like Edina's, is home cooking with a twist: turkey burgers, tempura fried green beans, and banana waffles. The food never seems to be bad, yet rarely is it exciting. In any case, 3 Squares is a step up from the other mostly national chain options in the area.
