When 3 Sons made the move from northwest Denver to Arvada, it took on an enormous, multi-roomed space in a mini-mall parking lot -- and it manages to keep that space busy, with suburban families packing the booths and tables beneath gold-colored walls. The menu is a textbook example of American Italian. A meal here usually starts with garlic bread, and maybe some calamari or a Caprese salad; the long list of entrees includes spaghetti marinara and fettuccine Alfredo, as well as chicken Marsala and shrimp scampi. The wine list is just as extensive, with almost exclusively domestic and Italian offerings.
