A fireplace anchors one end of the room filled with tables and bench banquettes. Lunch crowds come in for gazpacho or lobster salad or one of the many burgers on their list -- curry-chicken burger, anyone? Dinner leans toward chicken, steak, and seafoods, with some pastas and specials thrown in (but a few sandwiches are on the menu at night too). Several steaks, chops, and ribs are meaty choices, while chicken pot pie, liver and onions, and chopped sirloin with mushrooms and onions are traditional faves. A house specialty, lobster l'Indienne, features curry, scallops, shrimp, and pineapple. Salmon, seafood Provençal, or a few fresh-catch preparations round out the fish fare. Live music runs the gamut, but there's a piano bar here nightly. Those in the know with their grannies come for early dinners of value.
