Description

The latest restaurant project from the O.C.-based team that brought us Dakota, Whist and Meson G is a bordello-style, flocked-wallpaper saloon with a big list of wines by the half-bottle, the chance to have Red Hawk or Crescenza on your cheeseburger instead of ordinary cheddar, and big Chinese takeout containers filled with herb-flecked pommes frites. The soundtrack is probably close to the one you played in your car on the way to the AC/DC concert, if you were into stuff like that, a grinding mix of ’80s guitar rock played with enthusiasm and played loud.

    This is a great spot to get amazing burgers. Pretty gourmet stuff going on and sweet potato fries. Sunday night you can get any wine on the menu for half price, so drink twice as much.

    Yummy burger spot with kind of a clubby vibe. Settle in to a big booth and make your own burger with their lengthy list of toppings (and a serious gourmet cheese selection - which you can also get as a cheese plate!). Great shakes, too. Unlike most burger places, they offer full bar.

    you have to check out their guiness shake...yes, i said guiness. it's amazing. their tomato soup is great with a grilled cheese.
