Granted, Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation was set in a Hyatt, not a Marriott. But 2100 Bar certainly rivals the hotel bar featured in many of that film's scenes. Frequented by businessmen (silver fox alert!), it offers classy cocktails and a spectacular view of Elliott Bay. Its mission to showcase local ingredients is admirable. We're always happy to see Stokesberry chicken from Oly and Painted Hills beef on menus. The prices won't make you gag, with most everything under $20. On the lighter bite side, you can pig out on a lovely cheese plate for $10 or a bowl of mussels for $8. There's a small patio when the weather's fine. And because this is a hotel dining room, there's breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
