Description

The interior is spacious and the atmosphere laid-back (relatively speaking, at least) at this Midtown wine bar. You're not going to find enough food-wise to fill up if you're starving, but you can avail yourself of small cheese and meat plates to complement whatever vintage you choose. There's also an espresso bar if you want coffee. The bar itself is marble and very long, and there's additional seating on the patio.

And don't let the Midtown address scare you off; this cozy establishment is thankfully free of the douchiness that plagues many of the area's bars and clubs. Cheese plates are popping up as fast as the wine bars that carry them, and the one at 13 Celsius is particularly delicious. Served with mostarda di prugne (plum mustard), apples and a piece of fig cake, the plate comes with a variety of local and foreign cheeses.
